I had my choice, as my husband's birthday is in the 9th and my daughter's in the 20th. Besides my sis in law got married last February. Guess when is her husband's birthday? Yep, February again. Adding this to a friend's birthday on the 18th, it is a birthday filled month.
In the end, I did my husband's card first:
We call each other (sometimes) honeybunch. When the kids came along, I nicknamed them honeybee and honeypot.
I had seem some minimal cards somewhere- lots of white space, a few small embellies and text underneath - and decided to emulate it. The bee is a drawing of mine, I'm giving it some final touches and it will be for sale tomorrow.
TFL!
I always have mixed feelings about bees, because the ones we used to have in the garden at home were not the friendliest and we used to have to stay well clear of the hive. But this one with his little slice of cake is just so sweet :D.
